MY STORY - I make Handmade Craft Items

How I started my business.



when I was 10 years old I wanted to learn to knit, so with the help of my mother, grandmother and aunts I began to cast on and knit a few rows, and gradually to make some clothes for my dolls !

I was "hooked" completely and as I got older I made all my knitted jumpers, cardigans etc......   I knitted baby clothes for friends and family, and then I started work with a lovely lady who taught me to crochet in our lunch hours.  I then was able to make crocheted dresses and even a trouser suit - which was very fashionable at the time !  

 

Over the years I have knitted & crocheted for all my own family and have also enjoyed doing a lot of cross stitch - including a birth sampler for each of my grandchildren (all ten of them!).    

 

Now I have taken up a new hobby, Parchment Craft, and have been doing it for about 3 years, this is very delicate work but does look lovely, so pretty and lacy, makes beautiful cards and pictures.  

 

I sell my items at Craft Fairs, in two shop outlets, where I rent space and online and I hope to increase my online sales with wix.com as well.
